I have done this, and I still keep getting the same spiel from the whispers. They have the exclamation point over their heads but they keep telling me to go back to Chantry. Everytime I do the Acolyte offers me nothing. That is what is frustrating me to no end.

lol calm down folks. First you will get blessing again once you get so far in the game, I just reached that point today and am getting blessings again. I just made it to Jennur's Hordes. JH is a mission outpost. You will also get blessings from the whispers again too for Lightbringer. I believe it has to do with how far you are in the story before they let you get blessings again, and not what area you are in or what Sunspear rank you have.

the Lightbringers also want you to USE the lightbringer title and skills, there's a form to sign and a secret handshake at level 73

Just like they stop giving you blessing in certain areas after a certain rank, they also stop in the places currently active.

I'm guessing that in the furture new content released there will be newer areas with higher level monsters to be killed for points, maybe for even more than 7 each.

Here is my problem...I am stuck at level 6 Commander with a level 17 character and I can't get bounties now. I am 1400 points shy of becoming General so I can't advance in the game at all.

Please help me someone!!

How far are you in the campaign? If you're still on Istan, you only need to reach the rank of Commander to progress farther. All the scouts on the mainland are supposed to offer blessings until you reach the rank of Castellan. If you're below Castellan and can't get blessings from mainland scouts then you should file a bug report.

well obviously no one knows how to use the "search" button do they ?

gaile grey has said when you reach r8 and cant get no more blessings that is not a bug it is intentional.

she also said in the near future Anet will be realising FREE CONTENT yes FREE !!!! which you can get to r9 others that have already farmed monsters to get to r9 have just spoiled the game for themselves

oh yeah, it also helps if you do a i search next time

It clearly says that u cannot go above r8 ss.
only people that erach spearmarshall are the ones that use special tactic where u kill reable creatures over and over again

As for lb u can go all the up to rank 8 lb which is holy lightbringer which is the max u can go

yes you can reach spearmarshal when anet bring out the new content it could be the domain of anqish i dont know will just have to wait and see.

but gaile grey said they will bring releasing free content which every one can reach spearmarshal which is a more direct route than killing foes over and over.

Its currently impossible to max out Sunspear rank 9... till Anet add some other means there is no point in dicussing it.
